Bio

I have worked as a doctor of physical therapy for 17 years and have taught yoga classes, work shops and have developed and run many yoga teacher trainings over 18 years. I received my first yoga certification the summer before PT school because I knew there was more to healing physical pain and trauma than my school books would tell me. I have worked ever since to blend eastern and western ideas of moving out of pain.

I have been treating orthopedic, neurologic and sport injuries using physical therapy and yoga teachings for 15+ years.  I have found that this unique combination lends to a more complete mind-body healing of old and new injuries.  These combined techniques also have a more lasting effect as the root of physical and mental  patterns are brought to light.  I love to stand by your side to help you understand how the brain and body are working for you and to teach you the best ways to support natural cellular healing in any tissue.
